B&C was established in 1985 by the idea of two young friends, Vittorio Clemente and Edi Bogaro to accomplish something to pay for their univerity studies. Vittorio had one luthier uncle who he used to visit often to "steal" the art, and where he also understood what the satisfaction for a job "well done" is. He started working for the comrades of the conservatory where he studied doing bows maintenance and small repairs.From that idea and that passion the B&C trademark came to be, nowadays known and proven throughout the world.
